Ray Foley makes the move to Cork’s Red FM

Ray Foley has been announced as the new radio host on Cork’s Red FM.

The presenter, best known as funnyman host of Take Me Out Ireland, has previously worked for 98FM, Spin 1038 and Today FM.

“I’m delighted to be joining Cork’s number one radio station!” Ray revealed.

The DJ is set to hit airwaves from July 2nd for a 12 week series that will be on 7am to 10am every Saturday and Sunday.

“I’ve been a fan of Red FM for many years because they’re one of the best radio stations in the country,” the Mayo native said on Red FM‘s website.

It won’t be Ray’s first rodeo in radio, as he hosted the popular afternoon show, The Ray Foley Show, on Today FM before moving on to 98FM for a breakfast slot.

CEO of Red FM, Diarmuid O’Leary, admitted he is excited to see Ray join their team.

“Cork’s Red FM is delighted that Ray Foley is going to be entertaining our listeners on Saturday mornings for the summer – we can’t wait to hear him back on the radio from this weekend,” Diarmuid revealed.
