Ray D'Arcy blasts the Late Late Show as an 'antiquated, archaic thing'

Ray D’Arcy has blasted the Late Late Show as an “antiquated, archaic thing” for stopping guests going on his show.

The Today FM presenter was furious after the RTE One programme’s “veto” stopped them airing an interview recorded on Thursday until after the Late Late Show aired.

And Ray, 49, even asked listeners: “When will they cop on?”

He said: “If you’re a fan of David Gray, he was in with us on Thursday. We prerecorded a little chat and two songs with him.

Boozy good time: David Gray at the Late Late Show

“It was live, well, it was live then… the reason for that is he was on the Late Late Show.

“And they have this veto thing, which is an antiquated, archaic thing left over from the last century. When will they cop on?”

When on the Late Late Show, the English singer performed a version of Back In The World.
