PJ Gallagher: 'I hope everyone forgets about me when I'm dead'

PJ Gallagher has admitted that he doesn’t want to be remembered after he dies and couldn’t care less about creating a legacy.

The funny man may have had a successful career as a stand-up comic and radio host – but he hopes people forget about him after he’s gone.

“I really don’t want to be remembered, there’s enough pressure on us when we are alive to be dragging some legacy around after I’m dead too,” he said.

The comedian also revealed some secrets about himself – including the fact that he has a collection of hidden tattoos that none of his fans know about.

“I get lots of sneaky tattoos that nobody knows about and one of them looks like Shirley Bassey in boxing gloves,” he told Woman’s Way magazine.

PJ also has quite an interesting line-up of guests in mind for his ideal dinner party – because he wants to see some fighting.

“I couldn’t really pick just one, maybe Joan Burton, a few Water protesters, George Hook and Niall Boylan,” he said.

“I don’t know about you but if I’m gonna throw a dinner party I want to see some fighting, drinking and dancing.”
