It was just a playful joke, but after Jenny Greene revealed Nicky Byrne’s email on 2FM, Westlife fans started sending him messages.
During their 2FM programme The Nicky Byrne Show, co-host Jenny decided to reveal the singer’s personal email.
Speaking to Goss.ie, Nicky revealed he’s had to change his email address after Jenny revealed it last week.
“She said some of it on air and then lately she said it clearly,” he said.

“Some guy called Raymond emailed me straight away. I actually got a few, so I had to change my email address.
“Luckily I have a few email addresses, so it’s okay,” he said.
While his email is safe once again, Nicky admitted he still has Westlife fans showing up at RTE studios.

“The UK girls would come over. When Shane was gigging in The Olympia they killed two birds with one stone.
“They saw Shane at night and me during the day,” he explained.
“I still get a few girls coming in, there’s two in particular, Linda and Sandra, and when I do outside podcasts they’ll always come over.”
