Comedian Brendan O’Carroll is taking over Marian Finucane’s radio slot this weekend.
The Mrs Brown’s Boys star will be filling in on RTE Radio 1 – after taking time out from promoting his newly-released movie.
However Brendan – who is on the air on Saturday and Sunday – doesn’t expect to get the gig full time.

“Of course, I won’t be able to fill Marian Finucane’s seat. However, if I can sit on the edge and be a fraction of what she is, and what she does, I will be happy,” he said.
“I’m looking forward to presenting the show this weekend and hope the listeners enjoy the programme as much as I know I will.”
