Colm Hayes has been left with a broken finger – after a rowdy game of soccer with his RTE colleagues.
The 2FMÂ star ended up snapping his finger during the warmup of a game before his afternoon show after getting “another stupid soccer injury”.

He said: “Lunchtime soccer is quite competitive down here – that was just during a warm up”.
He added: “Doctors said, ‘You have a broken rib and it’s going to need to be in a splint for six weeks’.”
And it is just another soccer related woe for the veteran radio host who was left with a busted rib eight weeks after from the same soccer syndicate.
At the start of his afternoon programme, he warned listeners that “everything might just be a bit slower” because of the injury.
