2FM host Bernard O’Shea has insisted he doesn’t care that online trolls are attacking his new radio show.
The Republic of Telly star has joined up with Jennifer Maguire and Keith Walsh for the new morning show – which replaced Hector.
And Bernard insisted he doesn’t care that people keep telling them they are “shite”.
“We’re really enjoying it and we’re get- ting into our stride now. I’m always joking to Keith and Jen that they’re my family now,” he said.

“People are going to hate you and it’s very important that people hate you because they’re your most loyal listeners.
“At this stage, it’s water off a duck’s back. I have the benefit that I still do my stand-up and go in front of people and it’s from years of that.
“To be honest, I’m a bit impervious to it now and I’ve got everything at this stage.

“If you’re on Twitter and you have a profile, you’re going to get it. I got comments like ‘You’re shite’ and I’m like ‘Fair enough.’
“People say things behind a key- board they would never say to your face. I don’t care. I just go in and enjoy the show.”
And Bernard told The Herald he doesn’t care if they end up being sacked from the programme.
He said: “I’ve worked for commercial organisations and I’ve worked for myself and nothing is forever.
“My point is, I’ve been hired and fired several times and you just get used to it being part and parcel of the business.”
