Dublin Zoo has welcomed an ADORABLE baby elephant.
Asian elephant, Asha, gave birth to a healthy female calf on Monday evening after an incredible 22 month gestation period.
The calf is estimated to be just under 1 metre tall and weighs approx. 70kg.
Dublin Zoo took to their Facebook page to announce their new arrival, and share a snap of the baby elephant.

As usual, the zoo is running a competition to name the female Asian elephant calf.
However, only names which are of an Asian origin will be considered – so do your research!
