We can't wait: Hozier releasing his first album in September

Hozier has announced that he’ll be releasing his self-titled debut album in September.

The Wicklow singer’s record will be coming out on September 19 – and was partly recorded in his attic.

It comes after he has managed to conquer part of America, after appearing on a number of high-profile US TV shows.

His label also said there will be deluxe edition, which will feature four new tracks. He is playing at Glastonbury this weekend.

Recently Hozier told how he feels the damage done by the church to Irish people is irreparable.

Last weekend, he also performed at Rosanna Davison’s third wedding bash – taking on her dad Chris de Burgh in karaoke.
