WATCH: These AMAZING Irish dancers are hoping to catch Ed Sheeran’s eye

The Irish dance world has been going crazy this week over the news that Ed Sheeran is looking for Irish céilí dancers for his new music video being shot in Galway.

The singer’s public announcement has sent the Irish Dance World into pandemonium as everyone knows this is a once in a lifetime opportunity, and plenty are already vying for the British star’s attention – namely a progressive dance crew called the Fusion Fighters.

The Fusion Fighters are an online community of dancers who are familiar with dancing to modern music, and they have decided to launch a campaign dubbed #STEP4SHEERAN in a bid to showcase all their amazing talent, which they hope will grab the attention of Ed’s management, or better still – the man himself.

Fusion Fighters have got in contact with some of the world’s best céilí dancers to make a compilation video (in less than 24 hours) that they hope to go viral.

The video features current World Champions, leading show stars and members of the Fusion Fighters Crew, all dancing to Ed’s new song ‘Castle on the Hill’.

The Fusion Fighters have gone viral before with over 20 million views on their video campaigns in 2016, and with most of the talent in the video being Champion Ceili dancers, we reckon they really have a shot at being the stars of Ed’s next music video.
