U2 considering filming new music video on Clarence Hotel ROOF

U2 are considering filming their new music video on their Dublin hotel’s roof.

The Dublin rockers are expected to have their latest record out in October, their first since 2009.

Now Bono and the others are considering giving local fans a treat by shooting the music video on the roof of the Clarence Hotel.

Previously they used the hotel roof to film Beautiful Day for Top of the Pops in 2000 and Fitzwilliam Square was used for Sweetest Thing.

“There has been talk of them going back to their roots and filming something in the capital for the new album,” a source told the Herald.

“They love to use Dublin as a backdrop for their music.”
