Tina Knowles has defended Beyoncé’s NFL half-time show following online criticism.
The singer gave a memorable performance at NRG Stadium during the game between the Baltimore Ravens and the Houston Texans.
The 43-year-old played her songs from her newest album, Cowboy Carter, live for the first time.

The performance began with a pre-recorded segment of her singing “16 Carriages” and “Blackbird.”
Wearing a white bodysuit covered, cowboy boots, and a cowboy hat, Beyonce began to sing the song “YA YA.”
At one point during the incredible set, Blue Ivy joined the crowd of background dancers, slowly making her way to the front to join her mother.
Other musical guests throughout the performance were Post Malone and Shaboozey.

Tina reshared a post on Instagram after the performance garnered some backlash online, claiming that her daughter Beyoncé’s song was “proof” that no matter how talented you are, people will “always have some negative (thing) to say.”
Beyoncé’s mother wrote: “My sentiments exactly! It is mind-boggling to me that you would take your precious Christmas day and watch a performance of someone you hate and you don’t think has talent so that you can go talk ish about it later.”
She added: “I have learned so much from her warrior spirit, of when they go low I work harder ‘No weapon formed against me shall prosper.'”
Oscar-winning actress Viola Davis echoed the sentiment commenting: “This 🔥❤️”

Beyoncé finished out the act with her UK number one song, Texas Hold ‘Em, and performed with Post Malone, singing their popular song, Levii’s Jeans.
The program, dubbed Beyoncé Bowl, was broadcast live on Netflix and is now available as a stand-alone special on the streaming service.
She presented a video of herself seated on a white horse and waving a US flag after her performance.
The date January 14, 2025, flashed up at the end of the clip, hinting at an announcement coming on that date.
