The Spice Girls are celebrating the 23rd birthday of their hit song Wanna Be.
The single was released in the summer of 1996, and is arguably their most recognizable hit.
Taking to their official Instagram, the band shared a snippet of the original music video for the song.

 In the video, Geri, Mel B, Mel C, Victoria and Emma can be seen in their signature Spice Girls garb, as they lay down the requirements for those wishing to be their “lover.”
“23 years of us telling you what we want, what we really really want!” they captioned the post.
They also posted a link to the official YouTube video of the hit via their Instagram stories.
The video has racked up 408 million plays singe it was upload to the video sharing platform in 2009.
The band performed the song as a four-piece during their recently finished The Spice World Tour.
