Sharon Corr has revealed she battled with extreme anxiety after having children.
The Corrs singer wrote about her anxiety problems on her new solo album, and admitted she went through a tough few years.
“I experienced a period of quite extreme anxiety. I got panicky going on stage,” she said.
“I would have had healthy butterflies in The Corrs, but I suppose I thought I was really much better at home making bottles.”

“The experience of being on stage was a little alien to me. It’s also from sleep deprivation, I was a little bit below power,” she said.
Speaking to Ryan Tubridy on The Late Late Show, Sharon said she had to work at her problems.
“I really had to work very hard at it. I would have anxiety in really ridiculous situations. I had to be kinder to myself and be less harsher on myself emotionally.
“I had to go through a period where I had to just let things go. I had been holding a tight reign on things for so long but I think I just needed to break down and be vulnerable,” she said.

Meanwhile Sharon admitted she wasn’t too happy about U2’s recent deal with Apple.
The singer said although she is friends with the band she didn’t like their decision to give their album away for free.
“I love these guys, these guys are my friends. I would never say anything about them to hurt them.
“But IÂ have been a long time campaign of the rights for artists,” she explained.

“When we go into a studio we pay studios, we pay sound engineers, they take that money home they feed their families.”
