Shane Filan is set to end his nationwide tour with a special performance in his home town.
The former Westlife star is nearly at the end of his You & Me tour, and will perform his final gig to help local boy Donal Parsons.
Shane will have a special performance at Knocknarea, Sligo on December 5th to support Donal, who is currently fighting Neuroblastoma, a rare and aggressive cancer.
“I am thrilled to announce that the You and Me tour 2014 will finish in the Knocknarea Arena Sligo on Friday December 5th,” Shane said.

“All the proceeds from the night going to the Donal Parsons Trust.
“I am just happy to be able to play some small role in trying to get to that target of €250k which will enable Donal get the vital treatment he needs ,” he said.
“It’s my first solo concert in Sligo and I am bringing my full production band and crew to kickstart the festive season and raise much needed funds to give Donal a fighting chance of beating his cancer.”
