The Script will be announced as headlining Croke Park tomorrow – along with Kodaline and Hozier.
Goss.ie has learned that the Dublin rockers will be the star name at tomorrow morning’s announcement at the GAA headquarters.
It will also be announced that Kodaline and Hozier will be performing as part of a massive three -way gig.
Insiders have told Goss.ie that MCD are hoping to make it the concert of next year.
A source said: “Having just The Script would be a big win – but add Kodaline and Hozier in and you have a winning combination.
“It’s the best of Irish rock talent at the moment coming together – they don’t think there will be an issue selling out tickets.”
It is understood that just The Script will be at tomorrow’s announcement, as Hozier is in America and Kodaline are resting after injury stopped them continuing their tour plans.
It had been rumoured that U2 would be performing, but they are yet to fully decide on their plans for an Irish tour.
Others linked to playing at Croker included ACDC and Robbie Williams.
