The word is finally out – as Longitude has revealed it’s first batch of artists to play at this year’s music festival.
Returning to Marley Park, the festival is beginning to take shape as it announced this year’s headliners – Alt-J, The Chemical Brothers and Hozier.
Marking the Grammy nominee’s homecoming gig, Hozier will open the festival – which takes place this 17 to 19 of July –  on Friday night.

Other acts to take the festival by storm include Caribou, Wild Beasts, Jungle, SBTRKT, Little Dragon, Kaytranada, Young Fathers, Hudson Mohawke, Wolf Alice, Girl Band, Slave & Gengahr.
Winner of the Best Medium Festival gong at last year’s Irish Festival Awards, Longitude is nominated again for the category as well as Best Line Up and Family Festival for this year’s awards.
With more acts to be announced over the coming months, festival go-ers will no doubt thrilled with the line-up so far.
