Professor Green was serenaded by Chris De Burgh on honeymoon – who wouldn't STOP singing Lady In Red

Rapper Professor Green was left freaked out after meeting Chris De Burgh on honeymoon – who wouldn’t stop serenading him with Lady In Red.

The London star, 30, married Made in Chelsea’s Milly Mackintosh last year before heading to Italy on honeymoon.

But Professor Green was freaked out when the Irish crooner, who is Rosanna Davison’s dad, wouldn’t stop singing them his biggest hit after bumping into him.

He said: “The best thing about the honeymoon was we ended in Capri and we bumped into Chris De Burgh.

“He was with Nancy Dell’Olio, who went out with Sven-Göran Eriksson, he kept on singing on Lady In Red. It was just so weird.

“We didn’t expect that to happen on our honeymoon – but we did have a great time.”

And Professor Green also told how his wife’s love of Crackbird fried chicken has totally rubbed off on him – even munching on it in studio.

Chat: Professor Green speaking to 2FM’s Nicky Byrne Show

He told 2FM’s The Nicky Byrne show that the owners of the Dublin restaurant arranged for a feast to be brought all the way up to him in D to munch on before a gig.

He added: “They drove it four and a half hours for me – can you believe that. They were already coming to the gig, and I jokingly said, ‘Is anyone coming down from Dublin, fancy picking me up some Crackbird?’

“And Crackbird said if anyone was, they’d give four of them a free meal. They brought me boxes and boxes of chicken. It wasn’t just my band – you had people like Neon Jungle walking by who took some.”
