Drake named the most streamed artist of the decade

Today, Spotify released it’s annual Wrapped list which tells us which artists were the most streamed this year.

With this years list, we were also treated to a list of the most-streamed music from the past decade.

From 2010 – 2019, Drake was the most-streamed artist on the music platform.

Ed Sheeran came in second followed by Post Malone, Ariana Grande and Eminem.

When it came to the gendered lists, Ariana Grande topped the Most-Streamed Female Artist list.

Rihanna came in second followed by Taylor Swift, Sia and Beyoncé.

Drake, Ed Sheeran and Post Malone once again dominated when it came to Most-Streamed Male Artist of the decade.

They were followed by Eminem and The Weeknd.

Despite Drake dominating other lists, he came in second with One Dance while Ed Sheeran’s Shape of You topped the list, as the song we listened to the most over the last 10 years.

Rockstar by 21 Savage and Post Malone was third, Halsey and The Chainsmokers came fourth with Closer, and finally, Ed Sheeran appears again at fifth with Thinkin’ Out Loud.

When it came to Most-Streamed Track this year alone, Shawn Mendes and Camilla Cabello’s song Senorita topped the list.

Bad Guy by Billie Eilish came second, while Post Malone appeared once again in third place with Sunflower.

Ariana Grande came in fourth with 7 Rings, and Old Town Road – Remix by Lil Nas X and Billy Ray Cyrus came fifth.

Post Malone topped the list of most-streamed artists for 2019, followed by Billie Eilish, Ariana Grande, Ed Sheeran and Bad Bunny in fifth place.
