Niall Horan is far and away the most followed Twitter user in Ireland – after reaching 19 million followers.
The One Direction star is adding an average of 9,371 followers every single day, but is only the 26th most followed person in the world.
And the Mullingar superstar is eclipsed by bandmate Harry Styles with 21 million and former love interest Selena Gomez with 20.9 million.

He initially hit 18 million on April 21 – but is still miles off the most popular person on Twitter, Katy Perry with 54 million followers.
The 20-year-old is hugely ahead of the next biggest Irish boyband member, Ronan Keating, with 478,000 followers.
While Rory McIlory has a huge 1.9 million people following on Twitter, Jedward have 724,000 followers and Evanna Lynch has 694,000.
