Nadia Forde hits out at FM104 for not playing her music: 'It's not nice'

Nadia Forde has hit out at Irish radio station FM104 – claiming they are the only station to not play her music.

The model-turned-singer has released only one record to date, with BPM and Haunted both on her EP.

Nadia, 25, split from FM104 presenter Mark ‘Nobby’ Noble back in 2011, and said now the station won’t even do interviews with her.

“FM104 are the only radio station in Ireland who don’t play my records. They won’t even talk about me.

“F**k it, I might as well be honest… They’ll probably love the press,” she continued.

“98FM gave me a single of the week. Ryan Tubridy on 2FM and Ian Dempsey on Today FM have been tremendously supportive, as have regional radio stations.

“My (new) single Stuck has been played on BBC Radio 2 but FM104 won’t play my records,” she claimed.

However FM104 have denied the claims, telling the Irish Sun:

“There is no way we would let a former relationship with a staff member affect our product. There is no ban on Nadia’s record at FM104.

“We have a team who look after the music and Nadia’s music might not fit with our playlist. We pride ourselves on supporting Irish acts at FM104,” they added.

Nadia: Chasing The Dream airs on 3e tonight at 8pm.
