Mamma Mia! Legendary pop group ABBA set to reunite

Legendary Swedish pop group ABBA are set to reunite – but not in the way you think.

The band, which was originally formed in Stockholm in 1972 by members Agnetha Fältskog, Björn Ulvaeus, Benny Andersson, and Anni-Frid Lyngstad, have long been rumoured to make a comeback.

And now, it looks like it could FINALLY happen – but in the form of holograms.

As revealed by The Sun –  Simon Fuller, who is responsible for the formation of the Spice Girls, is said to be working on a project to bring ABBA back to the stage.

“It’s all in the early stages at the moment. Using holograms on stage is not a new concept.

“The technology is already available and it has previously been used for shows featuring stars like Elvis Presley, Michael Jacksin and Frank Sinatra,” said a source.

The project is being supported by original members Björn Ulvaeus and Benny Andersson, who are planning to base the virtual 3D show on videos from ABBA’s tours in 1977 and 1979.

According to reports, the show could take place in Las Vegas – as Bjorn and Benny were spotted with Simon Fuller in Sin City recently.
