Louis Walsh has revealed Zayn Malik is already planning a solo career just days after quitting One Direction.
The singer sensationally quit the pop group after five years following allegations he cheated on his fiance Perrie Edwards.
Despite claiming he wants to live the life of a “normal 22-year-old”, Louis has admitted Zayn has been meeting with top music producers.
“I’m told he’s very talented as a song-writer and I know he’s been in studio with producers in the last few months,” he said.

“I’m told by Simon Cowell that he’s very musical and that he’s underrated in the band as such,” he told 2fm.
Meanwhile, Zayn was spotted heading into a recording studio less than 24 hours after he claimed he wanted to lead a normal life.
The troubled celeb was snapped waltzing into a London studio while his former bandmates continue their world tour.

Music boss Louis has known the lads since they first appeared on The X Factor in 2010 and admitted he has known Zayn was having problems for quite some time.
“I knew there was problems. I knew Zayn couldn’t take the pressure – it was going to happen sooner or later,” he said.
The pop guru recently revealed he has no plans to ever retire from the music biz – and is devoting his time to making new band Hometown into a success.
