Fans will be very happy with this news!

Liam Payne has revealed One Direction will celebrate their 10th anniversary in a very special way.

The former bandmates were recently in touch to discuss their upcoming anniversary this July, and they’re set to mark the milestone with a special project.

Liam Payne told The Sun: “We’ve got a ten-year anniversary coming up so we’ve all been speaking together a lot over the last few weeks which has been really nice.”

“To hear a lot of people’s voices and seeing old content and different things that we haven’t seen for a long time or never seen before, it’s very interesting.”

“More than anything it’s just been a real good time for us to connect together again,” Liam gushed.

The singer didn’t reveal anymore about the special project, but said fans should expect “a number of different things” from the band.

Liam Payne, Harry Styles, Niall Horan, Louis Tomlinson, and Zayn Malik shot to fame back in 2010 when they were handpicked to form One Direction on The X Factor.

The bandmates went on to sell millions of records and were considered even more popular than The Beatles, but cracks started to show when Zayn dramatically quit the band in 2015.

Liam, Harry, Niall and Louis continued on as a foursome, but eventually disbanded in 2016, telling fans they were going on “hiatus”.

All members have since launched their own solo careers, but fans are still hoping they will reunite in the future.
