Liam Gallagher has hit back at a “cringe” Saturday Night Live Oasis parody.
The sketch poked fun at the singer and his brother Noel Gallagher ahead of their highly-anticipated reunion tour next year.
The popular US show aired a skit on Saturday night, mocking the brothers – however, was met with criticism for failing to capture their Manchester accent.

When the clip of the parody was posted to X, one fan tagged Liam and wrote: “Have you seen this?”
The rock legend brutally hit back: “Are they meant to be comedians?”, giving his opinion on the skit.
During the show, Liam was played by Sarah Sherman, while Noel was played by James Austin Johnson.
The hit Britpop band finally announced their highly-anticipated reunion 15 years after their dramatic split earlier this year.
Brothers Liam and Noel Gallagher will reunite for a comeback tour of the UK & Ireland next summer, their first time returning to the stage together since the latter quit the band in 2009.
During their UK and Ireland ticket sale, thousands of fans were left distraught as the Ticketmaster website crashed.
To improve their chances of securing one of the highly sought-after summer shows, hundreds of thousands of devoted fans of the Britpop group have tried to join the queue on an army of laptops, iPads and phones.
In Ireland, fans were mortified to discover they were stuck behind 557,000 others in the queue, as sales began to dwindle for those two dates.
