Hozier is set to receive a major honour for his music – the Spirit Of Ireland Award.
The musician has received many honours since he began his career including Best International at the Silver Clef Awards.
Next month, the singer will be honoured with the award at the Irish Arts Center Gala in New York.
Joining the Wicklow native at the gala are fellow Irish stars Liam Neeson and Gabriel Byrne.
Hozier announced his excitement to his fans on Twitter.

“Thrilled to join Liam Neeson and Gabriel Byrne and receive the Spirit Of Ireland Award at Irish Arts Center Gala in New York City,” he wrote.
Also receiving honours on the night are dancer Jean Butler and CEO of Xerox Ursula Burns.
