Green Day have announced that they’ll be playing Dublin next year.
The band first formed in 1986 and have had a string of hits including Basket Case, Wake Me Up When September Ends and Good Riddance (Time Of You Life.)
The rockers will take to the stage at Royal Hospital Kilmainham on the 29th of June with special guests Rancid.

Over the last three decades, the band have had two UK number one albums, five Grammy Awards and two Brit Awards just to name a few of the successes.
Green Day’s most recent album, Bang Bang, was inspired by the recent shootings in America and has received a warm critical reception for it’s powerful message.
