Garth Brooks refused to donate Croke Park tickets to be auctioned for charity

Garth Brooks refused to donate a pair of tickets to his Croke Park show to be auctioned for charity.

The US country legend was chatting to Ray Foley, when he queried whether he had got tickets and vowed to sort him out.

Garth’s tour manager Tracy then contacted the 98FM presenter to see whether he needed them.

But Ray – who had already bought tickets – replied and said he would love a pair to auction for charity.

He told her: “I actually bought tickets for the show, but I would love to take two from you and with your permission, auction them for a Dublin charity or worthwhile cause.”

However Tracy replied and said all Garth cared about was to “make sure you had tickets”, in an email exchange posted online by Ray.garthemail

“I’m so glad you were able to get tickets to Garth’s show, and I thank you for the sweet offer to give some tickets to a Dublin charity,” she replied.

“However, Garth is doing his own thing for charity. He sets up all his charitable giving through his accountants and does it anonymously, so I leave all of that in their capable hands.

“Garth really just wanted to make sure you had tickets. We can’t wait for our Dublin trip… we are all so excited!”

It comes as Garth has threatened to pull out of all his shows after permission for only three were granted.
