Demi Lovato has given an emotional first performance since she revealed that she broke her sobriety.
The singer recently confirmed through a new song that she has relapsed, and the star appeared to be fighting back tears as she sang the personal song.
After her performance at The Rock in Rio Lisboa Festival, Demi shared a video with her fans with the caption,
“I took the stage, a new person with a new life. Thank you to everyone who has supported me throughout this journey. It will never be forgotten ❤ .”
Demi’s lyrics include, “And I’m sorry for the fans I lost, who watched me fall again, I want to be a role model, but I’m only human.”
“Momma, I’m so sorry. I’m not sober anymore, “Demi sings in the chorus. “And daddy, please forgive me for the drinks spilled on the floor,”she added.
This week the Sorry Not Sorry singer also revealed a new tattoo that she and her crew got.
