The Script’s Danny O’Donoghue is ready to make his TV comeback – as a judge on the X Factor.
The Dublin singer revealed he would “consider” the offer after being wooed by Simon Cowell, despite previously being a judge on The Voice.
The 34-year-old – who snubbed a job offer on the Voice of Ireland – said he is willing to switch sides after two years on the BBC’s rival.

He said: “I chatted to Simon for ages after we performed on the show. He’s a true music man.
“We talked about the art of song writing, the way the music industry is going. I was really impressed with his vision for his TV shows and his label.
“I’m a converted Simon Cowell fan. He didn’t ask me to be a judge on the show but of course I would consider it if he did.”
It would be a massive coup for Cowell, who is engaged in all out war with the BBC currently.
Already, Danny has proved he isn’t a fan of The Voice UK any more, admitting it could be axed for not creating any proper stars.
