Christina Aguilera announces first major tour in over a DECADE

XTINA is back!

Christina Aguilera has announced that she’s going on tour for the first time in over a decade.

The singer announced the news by posting a makeup-free, black-and-white photo to Instagram.

Xtina simply wrote, “THE LIBERATION TOUR, Tickets on sale May 18, christinaaguilera.com.”

Christina’s upcoming album Liberation is set for release on June 15, and following that she will perform 24 shows in 22 theatres across North America.

Unfortunately for Xtina’s Irish fans – she hasn’t announced a world tour yet, but we’re holding out hope.

The Liberation Tour begins September 25 in Hollywood, and ends November 13 in St Petersburg, Florida.

Christina recently released new single Accelerate, which features Ty Dolla $ign and 2 Chainz, and was produced by Kanye West.

The news comes after Christina announced plans to duet with Demi Lovato at the Billboard Awards.

The pair will sing with new single Fall In Line, which features on Christina’s new album.

The Billboard Awards will take place on May 20 at Las Vegas’ MGM Grand Garden Arena, and the event will be hosted by Kelly Clarkson.
