Ariana Grande, Miley Cyrus and Lana Del Rey tease release of new collaboration

The song will be on the soundtrack for the new Charlie's Angels movie

Pop trinity Ariana Grande, Miley Cyrus and Lana Del Rey have teased the release of their brand new song.

The collaboration brings the three stars together on “Don’t Call Me Angel”, for the brand new Charlie’s Angels film.

Miley teased a 15-second clip of the song on her Twitter account, and also confirmed the release date to be this Friday, September 13th.

“Don’t Call Me Angel” will be the lead single from the movie’s soundtrack.

The Charlie’s Angels remake stars Kristen Stewart, Naomi Scott and Ella Balinska as the new Angels, who work for Charles Townsend, whose investigative and security agency has gone global.

The movie was directed, written and produced by Elizabeth Banks.

Destiny’s Child song Independent Women previously served as the lead single on the soundtrack for the 2000 film adaption of Charlie’s Angels – which starred Cameron Diaz, Drew Barrymore and Lucy Liu.

The news comes after Lana Del Rey recently released her brand new album ‘Norman F*cking Rockwell’ on August 30th.

Miley also released her new single ‘Slide Away’ on August 16th, following her split from Liam Hemsworth.

And Ariana has maintained her presence in the charts after releasing her latest single ‘Boyfriend’, a collaboration with her rumoured new boyfriend Mikey Foster from Social House.
