After the Croke Park fiasco – Garth Brooks is getting his own Irish PLAY

We thought the Garth Brooks drama was over – but now it will continue on in a new theatre production.

Moone Boy actress Deirdre O’Kane has revealed she will be starring in a new comedy show called  Are You There, Garth? It’s Me, Margaret.

Written by columnist and playwright Fiona Looney, the new show will run in Dublin as well as playing in Galway, Cork and Limerick.

“For one lady it was going to be a big day out. I’m the woman of the story, I’m not a fan of Garth Brooks, I
wouldn’t know his music,” Deirdre told The Sun.

“Fiona Looney is amazing at capturing a person like this.

“I love that she’s taken one person’s story in the midst of all that madness last summer and gone to the heart of what it really meant to somebody and her love of Brooks,” she added.
