5 Reasons Why We Can’t WAIT For JoJo’s Dublin Gig

JoJo will land in Dublin for her FIRST headline gig ever in Ireland on Sunday, and we CAN NOT wait for it.

Following the release of her new album Mad Love, JoJo will embark on a headline show at The Academy, on January 15, 2017.

Released when JoJo was just 13, her debut single Leave (Get Out) reached the pinnacle on Billboard’s “Pop Songs” chart back in 2004, making her the youngest-ever solo artist to have a #1 single in the United States.

So, with excitement brewing ahead of Sunday, we’ve listed the five reasons why we are SO excited to see JoJo live.

1. Because It’s Never Too Little Too Late

Sorry, but WHO can forget Too Little Too Late?

This was, hands down, one of JoJo’s best hits back in 2006, so we can only imagine her new stuff is even better.

Still, we can’t wait to hear this one!

2. Nostalgic Vibes

Touching on our first reason, OBVIOUSLY we can’t wait to jam out to some of JoJo classic hits from the early 2000s.

TBT to jumping around our bedrooms lipsyncing Baby It’s You, Not That Kinda Girl and OF COURSE, Leave (Get Out) – except this time, we may or may not have a cocktail in hand…

3. Her Voice Is AMAZING

Classic hits aside, JoJo’s voice is just straight up INCREDIBLE.

If you’re heading to the gig, we highly recommend checking out her YouTube channel beforehand, which features some of her latest music, as well as some incredible covers.

Seriously, we can’t WAIT to hear that voice live!

4. Shouting: Leave, Get Out!

Ok, we’re sorry, but we’re actually going to lose our sh*t when this comes on.

And knowing the Irish crowds, we’re guaranteed to make A LOT of noise for this 2004 favourite. We can already hear ourselves now…

“LEAVE GET OUT, RIGHT NOW, IT’S THE END OF YOUUUUU AND MEEEEEEEEE!!”

5. Her New Music Is INCREDIBLE

Ok, enough talk about her old material. Lets talk about her NEW material, because it’s actually amazing.

Her latest album Mad Love features a tonne of incredible new tracks, but we especially love F*ck Apologies, which she collaborated on with Wiz Khalifa.

SO PUMPED!
