Will Smith shared the first look at the Genie in the new live-action version on Aladdin.
The actor plays the Genie, while Mena Massoud plays Aladdin and Naomi Scott is Jasmine.
While the trailer for the film was released in October, it only showed Aladdin for a brief second, while Naomi and Will’s character were still left as as mysteries.
The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air star shared a snap of him and his two co-stars on the front of Entertainment Weekly, along with the caption: “BAM!! First look at the Genie ????♂️, Princess Jasmine, and #Aladdin! Check Me Rockin’ the Top Knot Ponytail Vibes”.
“(and yes, I’m gonna be BLUE! 🙂 ),” he added.
The picture showed the father-of-three in a purple and blue costume, with a beard and his head shaved, apart from a ponytail on the top.
Naomi donned a gorgeous blue and gold outfit, with gold embellishments and red lipstick, while Mena took a different twist on Aladdin’s original outfit, as his staple purple vest was changed to a red vest with a striped shirt underneath.
The actor also shared some snaps from the film, with amazing costumes and sets, which gave a different twist to the 1992 film.
The live-action Aladdin is set to be released on the 24th May 2019.
