Another Disney Classic has been remade

The first trailer for the live-action version of Dumbo has finally been released.

The highly-anticipated movie is set to be released on March 29, 2019.

The live-action film expands on the original animated film of the same name, which was released in 1941.

The film stars Colin Farrell, who we caught up with back in March, and also stars Eva Green, Michael Keaton and Danny DeVito.

The story follows a similar plot to the 1941 animation, and begins when circus owner Max Medici (Danny Devito) enlists former star Holt Farrier (Colin Farrell), and his children Milly Farrier (Nico Parker) and Joe Farrier (Finley Hobbins), to care for a newborn elephant.

Everything changes for Dumbo once the children realise he can fly. Impressed by the animal’s unique ability, entrepreneur V.A. Vandevere (Michael Keaton) recruits Dumbo for his circus called Dreamland.

Dumbo becomes the star of the Circus and meets aerial artist Colette Marchant (Eva Green). However, all is not what it seems and the family realise that Dreamland is actually more of a nightmare.

The film is directed by ‘Alice in Wonderland’ live-action director Tim Burton.
