WATCH: Father of the Bride cast reunite for ‘special sequel’ – alongside new famous faces

The cast reunited for the first time in 25 years

The cast of Father of the Bride reunited for the first time in 25 years on Friday, for a special sequel.

Introduced by Reese Witherspoon, the 26-minute video saw the Banks Family gathered together for a Zoom call – including Nina (Diane Keaton), Annie (Kimberly Williams-Paisley), Matty (Kieran Culkin) and wedding planner Franck (Martin Short).

The babies from the second movie, who are now in their 20s, are also on the Zoom call and played by Florence Pugh and Ben Platt.

The ‘special sequel’ also features appearances from new characters played by Robert De Niro and Alexandra Shipp

The reunion was organised in a bid to raise money for a non-profit called World Central Kitchen, which has served over 20 million meals to vulnerable people during the coronavirus pandemic.

On the latest episode of #GossChats, Goss.ie CEO Ali Ryan chats with top makeup artist and influencer Keilidh Cashell about her brand new makeup range, adjusting to life in the spotlight and how she’s kept calm during the pandemic.

#GossChats is sponsored by top Irish aesthetic clinic Haus of JeJuve.
