The new trailer for Brad Pitt’s latest venture War Machine is here.
The actor portrays a four-star US General in the Netflix movie, who is tasked with leading NATO forces to “clean up the mess” in Afghanistan.
General Glen McMahon is introduced as “the man who kicked al-Qaida in the sack” in the clip.
He tells his troops: “We are here to build. To protect. To support the civilian population.. And to that end, you must avoid killing it at all costs. We can’t help them and kill them at the same time. It just ain’t humanly possible.”

The film follows the rise of McMahon, but his own pride and an expose by a journalist ultimately lead to his downfall.
War Machine has been dubbed as “an absurdist war story for our times” that is “part reality, part savage parody”.
Ben Kingsley, Anthony Michael Hall, Topher Grace and Tilda Swinton also star in the movie, which will be released on Netflix on May 26th.
