The Top 10 Films At The Irish Box Office Are…

Rogue One is still riding high at the cinema

The top 10 films at the Irish box office last weekend are in – and it looks like Rogue One is flying high again.

The new Star Wars film is set between Star Wars Episode 3 and Star Wars Episode 4 when the Death Star is being built.

Taking in an impressive €180,706 over the Christmas weekend, the new Disney film is looking like it will be steady in the top spot for a while.

Another Disney hit Moana is also claiming one of the top spots at number two and took in €48,911 over the weekend.

Chris Pratt and Jennifer Lawrence’s epic space thriller was the third most popular film at the weekend taking in €42,742.

Another animated film Ballerina proved to be favourite over the weekend with €27,170 earned at the Irish box office.

Eddie Redmayne’s Fantastic Beasts And Where To Find Them, despite it’s release over a month ago, is still extremely popular and claimed the fifth spot with €21,127 earned over the weekend.
