Hollywood star Steven Seagal has attacked action film rival Liam Neeson insisting that “he can’t fight”.
The American actor said the Northern Irish favourite is “not an action movie guy at all” and is unfairly landing roles.
He added: “Look at Liam Neeson — he can’t fight, he’s not an action movie guy at all and he’s getting action movies now so that should tell you something.
“He’s a great dramatic actor. Is he an action guy? No. Is he a great fighter, a great warrior? No. Let’s be honest.”

This is despite the fact that Liam, 61, has been boxing since a young man growing up in Ballymena, Co Antrim.
The 62-year-old – best known for his role in Under Siege – also is annoyed that special effects remove the need for “warriors” like himself.
He said: “People don’t have to be an action guy or a hero or a martial artist – they get up there and let everybody spend the money and the time with special effects.”
