Reese Witherspoon has announced a Legally Blonde reunion for the first time in 20 years.
The actress starred as the fabulous Elle Woods in the hit film, which sees a sorority girl attend Harvard Law School in an attempt to win back her ex-boyfriend – overcoming stereotypes along the way.
Almost 20 years since the film’s initial release, the cast will be joining Reese for a virtual reunion in aid of World Central Kitchen.
Sharing the exciting news to Instagram on Monday, Reese wrote: “Ohmigod you guys!! It’s a Legally Blonde Reunion. 🎀”
“We laughed, we cried and we may or may not have done the bend & snap for old times sake! 💅🏽
“For the first time in 20 years, join me and the #LegallyBlonde cast tomorrow at 3:15PM PST on the @hellosunshine YouTube channel!
“PS: Don’t you want to see if Elle & Warner finally make up?” she teased.
Reese’s celeb friends shared their delight at the news, with Ellen DeGeneres quoting a line from the flick commenting: “I’m sorry. I just hallucinated.”
Actress Kerry Washington wrote: “WOW! Yaaaaaaaaas RW 💕💕💕”, while model Karlie Kloss penned: “YESS💕💕 Best Monday news EVER.”
Matthew Davis, Alanna Ubach, Jessica Cauffiel, Luke Wilson, Selma Blair, Victor Garber, and Jennifer Coolidge all starred in the iconic film, with the reunion due to take place at 11:15pm GMT HERE.
