Pierce Brosnan was left “deeply affected” after the death of his daughter from cancer.
The Hollywood star was working on new film The November Man when he discovered Charlotte had lost a three-year battle with ovarian cancer.
However the Bond actor refused to give up on his work commitments last year – and was quickly back at the set.
Director Roger Donaldson has now told how Pierce managed to make sure his work “never wavered” during the tough times.

“In the middle of making this film, Pierce went through a personal tragedy and it was a very tough time,” he told DuJour.
“He was taking the movie very seriously but he was also deeply affected by what was going on in his life.
“I was very impressed by how he was able to give his family the time he needed to but to give the film time as well.”
