Peter Jackson has supposedly cast Robert Sheehan in his new film, Mortal Engines.
The adaptation of Philip Reeve’s book series set thousands of years in the future where cities roam the globe on huge wheels, devouring each other in a struggle over diminishing resources.
The novels have won many awards including Guardian Children’s Fiction Prize, the Los Angeles Times Book Award, the Smarties Gold Award, and Blue Peter Book of the Year.
Mortal Engines: Ronan will reportedly join Robert in the film | NETFLIX
According to Variety, Robert, known for starring in hit TV shows Love/Hate and Misfits, will star in the lead role.
Ronan Raferty, who recently appeared in Fantastic Beasts And Where To Find Them, is also said to star in the film alongside Robert but his role has not been revealed yet.
There is no release date yet for the film.
