TV3’s first movie is set to hit cinemas next month.
The Guaratee, which stars Love/Hate’s Fran aka Peter Coonan, will have a special live screening in October, ahead of the launch on TV3 this December.
The movie, which follows the night Irish banks singed the ill-fated guarantee, will be the first of it’s kind in Ireland.
Behind the scenes: Filming just wrapped on the new film
Despite still filming just weeks ago, the film will be ready for audiences in just a few weeks times.
The highly-anticipated film, written by Colin Murphy, is based on the events leading up to one of the most notorious political decisions in Irish history – the 2008 Bank Guarentee.
Starring Peter Coonan as shamed banker David Drumm, and Amber actor David Murray as Brian Lenihan, the film is set to cause controversy.
