The new director of James Bond has been revealed.
American director, Cary Joji Fukunaga, has been announced at the replacement for Danny Boyle, who stepped down from the role last month due to “creative differences.”
The 41-year-old has previously worked on huge productions such as Beasts of No Nation, The Alienist and Jane Eyre.
The news was announced on the official James Bond account this morning.
“‘We are delighted to be working with Cary. His versatility and innovation make him an excellent choice for our next James Bond adventure,’ said Michael G. Wilson and Barbara Broccoli,” the account tweeted.
It was also announced that filming is set to begin on March 4th 2019 with actor Daniel Craig, producer Barbara Broccoli and producer/screenwriter Michael G. Wilson.
