Netflix boss says future entertainment will come from PILLS

Reed Hastings co-funded the website with Marc Randolph

Reed Hastings has said that he thinks the future of entertainment will be through pharmaceuticals like pills.

The Netflix CEO and his co-founder Marc Randolph revolutionised how people watch movies and TV shows with their online streaming service – ultimately putting video rental stores out of business.

“In twenty or fifty years, taking a personalised blue pill, you just hallucinate in an entertaining way, and then a white pill brings you back to normality is perfectly viable,” he said.
