Love/Hate's Aaron Heffernan chased Star Wars director down the street after audition

Love/Hate star Aaron Heffernan has told how he chased JJ Abrams down the street – after his Star Wars audition.

The TV star thought the force was with him when he spotted the Hollywood director strolling around London.

Earlier this year Aaron – whose cousin is model Thalia Heffernan – had auditioned for a role alongside thousands of other wannabes in Dublin.

But Aaron was disappointed when JJ “didn’t have a clue who I was”.

“I ran after him, chased him down the street,” he told the Irish Independent.

“I thought we could chat about light sabres and the force. But he didn’t have a clue who I was.”

However Aaron did find “every cloud has a silver lining” after JJ posed with him for a picture.

Irish actor Domhnall Gleeson has bagged a role in the latest movie, but feels it is just another job.
