Actor Liam Neeson has revealed most directors change the age of their main characters – so he can get cast in their movies.
The Irish starm who turned 62 this year, said casting directors are making sure he can suit the main role.
“It’s a luxury I’m still working at this age. The hero in action movies is usually
mid-30s,” he said.

“I’ll send those scripts straight back, but a week later I’ll get a new one through and the main character is suddenly in his mid- 50s.”
Liam has become an international hit since starring as agent Bryan Mills in the Taken franchise.
The actor has since starred action packed flicks Non-Stop and A Walk Among The Tombstones.
While the movies are all driven by an action hero, Liam said he doesn’t mind being type cast – as long as he gets paid a lot of money.

“My agent will suggest something and I’ll be outraged and exclaim, ‘No!’” he told TV

“Then he’ll tell me how much I get for the role. And I’ll do it.”
