In the video, the camera pans to Jude as Nancy says: “Look who I’m having lunch with today. Jude Law! Congratulations on your so well-deserved star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. That’s amazing.”
She continued: “I don’t think I’ve seen you since we wrapped The Holiday. Speaking of which, I’ve seen you’ve interviewed a lot, and they keep asking you if there’s going to be a sequel. What do you think?”
In response, the actor referenced his Mr. Napkin Head character from the movie by covering his head with a napkin and spectacles, to which Nancy replied: “Is that a yes Jude?”
Fans went wild at the possibility of a sequel.
“This is not the time of year to be messing around with our hearts, Nancy! 😩🥰,” one fan wrote in the comment section.
“For the love of god, please give us a sequel 😩😩😩😩 we are dying without a new Nancy Meyers movie!!!” wrote another.
In June, Jude told E! News, that he “loved the idea” of a follow-up film, and added, “Why not?”
“I think Graham still has cardigans and glasses, and reads. He’s probably worried sick about the girls, right? [His] daughters will be 28, 29.”
The 2006 romantic comedy starred Kate Winslet and Cameron Diaz as two women who exchange homes on opposite sides of the world.
Jack Black portrays a film composer who develops feelings for Kate, while Jude plays Kate’s widowed brother, who falls in love with Cameron’s character.
