Jack Raynor has told how he still can’t believe he has made it in Hollywood – with situations leaving him open-mouthed with shock.
The Dublin actor is “living the dream at the moment” – but it has been “been fairly wild” over the last year as his career shot up after starring in Transformers.
And the 23-year-old said the last time he was truly shocked at what his life has become was filming Centuron in Newcastle.
He added: “I’ve had a few moments now. I’ve stood on top of a mountain in Newcastle looking at Hadrian’s Wall with Michael Fassbender standing beside me.

“The two of us were in armor, and I’ve stood there going, ‘Jesus Christ, this is mental – I was only doing my Leaving Cert four years ago!'”
And Jack – who said the last year has been “a bit of an exponential trajectory for me” – laughed that he could already be following Colin Farrell’s wild days.
Rebel Colin ended up going to rehab to deal with his drink and drugs issues – and has hooked up with A-listers including Britney Spears and Lindsay Lohan.
Asked if he has descended to the same madness, Jack laughed: “Who’s to say I haven’t already done all the madness, and I’m just better at getting away at it than he is.”

Meanwhile, speaking on FM104’s The Strawberry Alarm Clock with Jim-Jim and Nobby, Jack said he stays grounded through the support of his pals in Ireland.
He added: “I think in general people are fairly supportive at home in Ireland, all my mates and family are very supportive of me.
“Obviously there’s a healthy level of competition out there – and you catch the eye of someone in a bar sometimes.
“In general though I’ve had a lot of support, everybody here seems to be really behind me. And that gives me a lot of confidence overseas when I’m working away.
“It’s cool to be doing it for your country. I’m loving it.”
